Volotea (Spain) carries dogs in the cabin only: convenient for small dogs, but a non-starter if yours is too heavy. Here are the exact conditions, the fee and the steps to follow.

In the cabin

Volotea accepts a dog in the cabin if its weight, carrier included, does not exceed 10 kg (22 lb). The carrier must be soft-sided and fit under the seat in front of you. Expect about €39–60 (~$45–70).

Airline conditions: 10 kg (22 lb) including accessories; soft carrier max 50 × 40 × 20 cm (20 × 16 × 8 in); not available to/from the UK, Ireland or Malta.

In the hold: no

Volotea does not offer hold transport for dogs. No pets in the hold.

How to book

Pet spots on board are limited: book as early as possible.

  1. Buy your ticket, then contact Volotea to add your dog to the booking.
