Our mission

My Dog Can Fly was born from a simple conviction: the world is more beautiful when shared with your dog. Too many dog owners still give up on trips, adventures or even a summer getaway because they’re afraid of getting it wrong. Our goal is to remove those barriers with information that is reliable, practical and fact-checked — so that every trip, from a weekend close to home to a flight across the ocean, goes smoothly for you and your companion.

What you’ll find here

We publish practical guides organized around four themes:

  • Traveling with your dog — by car, train or plane, plus paperwork and international travel.
  • Dog-friendly stays & destinations — where to go, where to sleep, and how to choose well.
  • Health & well-being on the road and through the seasons — heatstroke, paw pads, motion sickness, first aid.
  • Gear & practical advice — choosing the right travel equipment for your dog.

Our method

Every article is grounded in official and veterinary sources (veterinary bodies, government agencies, airlines and other carriers), cited at the bottom of each page. Our content is dated and updated regularly to stay accurate.

Disclaimer. Our health articles are for information only and never replace the advice of a veterinarian. If you have any doubt about your dog’s condition, consult a professional.
