The flag carrier of the Philippines, Philippine Airlines (PAL) links Manila to Asia, North America, Oceania and Europe. To travel with a dog, the main option is the hold as checked baggage: the cabin remains reserved for service dogs (outside the domestic FurPAL program).
In the hold: up to 32 kg (71 lb) (dog + crate)
Your dog travels as checked baggage in an approved rigid crate, for a combined dog + crate weight not exceeding 32 kg (71 lb). Booking requires at least 48 hours’ notice, and not every aircraft configuration can accept live animals: the spot must be confirmed at booking.
In the cabin: service dogs (and FurPAL domestically)
In the cabin, only service dogs are admitted on the international network. Since late 2025, the FurPAL program allows small dogs (≤ 10 kg / 22 lb, crate included) in the cabin, but only on certain domestic routes within the Philippines (Manila to Boracay, Bohol, Siargao) — so it does not apply to international flights.
